The role of university business incubators in the development of technological entrepreneurship among students

Abstract
The article examines the role of university business incubators in stimulating technological entrepreneurship among students. Based on a critical analysis of the relevant literature, the key factors of the effectiveness of business incubators have been identified and the author's terminology has been developed. A survey of 450 students and graduates of 15 leading technical universities in Russia with experience in participating in business incubator programs was conducted. Regression analysis revealed that mentoring support (β=0.38; p<0.01) and access to investors (β=0.29) have the greatest impact on entrepreneurial activity.; p<0.01) and business skills training (β=0.25; p<0.05). A significant meditative effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy was revealed (Z=3.87; p<0.001). The results confirm the key role of business incubators in the development of student technology entrepreneurship and open up prospects for improving their programs, taking into account psychological factors.
