Synthesis of traditional Chinese art methods and innovative online technologies in the context of globalization of education

Abstract

The integration of traditional Chinese art methods into the digital educational environment is a promising area of research in the context of the globalization of educational processes. This study is aimed at analyzing the effectiveness of the synthesis of classical Chinese art practices and modern online technologies in the educational programs of higher educational institutions. The work uses a comprehensive methodology that includes cross-cultural analysis, longitudinal pedagogical research and statistical data processing based on a mixed research design. The empirical basis was based on the results of a four-year international experiment involving 38 universities from 12 countries, involving 4,782 students. The main results demonstrate a statistically significant increase in academic performance (p<0.001), the level of intercultural competence (r=0.78) and creative thinking (Cohen's d=0.89) in the experimental groups. The developed integrative model of the educational platform, synthesizing the philosophical principles of Chinese painting and calligraphy with adaptive digital technologies, has shown high efficiency in developing students' meta-subject skills. The practical value of the research lies in the creation of a scalable educational content management system capable of successfully functioning in conditions of cross-cultural digital interaction and contributing to the formation of a new type of global educational ecosystem.
