Abstract

The article addresses the problem of the lack of a scientifically based toolkit for diagnosing the moral and aesthetic upbringing of students. To solve it, the authors, using a systemic approach and theoretical analysis, develop an original three-component model of this personal characteristic. The model includes cognitive (knowledge of norms), emotional-value (emotional acceptance), and activity-behavioral (practical application) aspects. The key result of the study is a comprehensive diagnostic system, structured and equipped with a selected set of valid and reliable assessment methods. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of integrating this toolkit into the educational process of a higher education institution. This allows for monitoring the effectiveness of pedagogical influences and identifying the dynamics of students' personal development.
