Abstract

The article examines the problem of declining academic motivation among students of technical and natural-science fields of study when mastering fundamental mathematical disciplines: mathematical analysis, linear algebra and analytical geometry. The need to search for and implement effective pedagogical strategies that contribute to the formation of sustained cognitive interest in these courses under the conditions of the digital transformation of higher education is substantiated. A comprehensive methodological system is proposed, including contextual and problem-oriented learning, gamification of the educational process, the use of digital visualization and computer algebra tools, as well as the organization of project and research activities using open educational resources. The results of a pilot implementation of the developed strategies in the educational process of a technical university are described. Criteria for the effectiveness of the proposed approaches are discussed, and practical recommendations for higher education teachers are given.
